Hotel Vespera is opened

Hotel company Jadranka hotels from Mali Losinj invested around 17.5 million euros in the reconstruction of the hotel Vespera, and the hotel was opened by the Minister of Tourism Damir Bajs, who on that occasion emphasized that this project is the result of successful cooperation between the owners and local government. Reconstruction of Vespera is also the largest investment in Croatian tourism for 2009.
Hotel Vespera is proud with its four stars, has 404 rooms and a restaurant for 700 guests. Since the hotel wants to penetrate the market as the so-called "Family hotel", Vespera is fully adapted for families with children. The hotel also has a complex of outside pools with total surface area of 3.000 m2 and a variety of playrooms and playgrounds.
Jadranka hotels business plan does not stop with the renewal of Vespera. The plan is to renovate four more hotels by 2012, along with the two that are already restored, and to have all of them raised to the level of four or five stars. It should also be noted that the owner of 32% of Jadranka hotels is the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, which is a compliment not only for the company, but also for the entire region.
First guests are extremely satisfied with the appearance of new Vespera, with some of them already being long-time visitors to the island of Losinj. Most of them expressed admiration for the performed work and stated they intend to be back on vacation at Losinj far more often in the future.
